Frederiksted

Located on St. Croix’s West End, Frederiksted is one of two towns on the island and is the perfect place to relax if you are looking for calm blue water and white sandy beaches. The only port of call on St. Croix for cruise ships, many visitors head west to catch Frederiksted’s spectacular sunsets, splash in the tranquil waters, and meet some friendly locals.

Frederiksted is on the leeward side of St. Croix, known for calmer seas year-round, especially during the “Christmas Winds” of our winter season. The famous Frederiksted Pier is one of the main attractions for divers, in addition to the Butler Bay wrecks, and the beautiful West End coral reefs. Many visitors enjoy staying on the West End, to take advantage of it’s natural beauty and historic flavor. There are also many local restaurants and lots of fun things to do when you aren’t scuba diving. You can also find more information about Frederiksted and the island of St. Croix at GoToStCroix and StCroixTourism.
